Greetings Leona!
Welcome back to planDisney! I am so glad that you have returned to us with your important planning question today.
Disney MagicMobile Service is a new tool that allows Guests to use their iOs devices or Android devices with Google Pay, to access the information in their My Disney Experience accounts. Once your information is saved in your Apple Wallet, you can also use an Apple Watch, the same way you would use a MagicBand. However, should you lose your phone, you will need to visit guest services for assistance.
Even though you will not be using a
MagicBand, doesn’t mean that you cannot purchase one for your collection.
The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. is my favorite place to shop for Disney souvenirs and collectibles. If you see one that you like, you can purchase it and link it to your account. They are stylish and with the 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing, you may find a limited edition MagicBand that magically suits you.
Remember, your Disney MagicMobile pass will of course give you access to your theme park admission and park pass reservations. But you can also add PhotoPass photos to your
Memory Maker account and if you choose to use the Disney Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane service, you can redeem your experiences at the Lightning Lane entrance touch points.
While you are in the Magic Kingdom enjoying the
50th Anniversary Celebration, be sure you plan to see
Disney Enchantment. This amazing nighttime spectacular combines castle and Main Street U.S.A. projections along with fireworks and a special arrangement of Disney classic soundtracks and a new theme song composed just for this show. This is the perfect way to end your day of adventures in the Magic Kingdom.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
