We are coming in less than a month & get to try out the magic bands! I have read that you can use the Magic Bands to purchase food & drinks. Is this true? Can you charge things to your room with the MB, such as tips and souvenirs? Can my 3yo?

Hello Angela.  How exciting for you and your family that you get to use the new Magic Bands on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  Your trip will be here before you know it!  You will be able to put a credit card on your account which will then allow you to charge any purchases, including food and drinks or souvenirs, at most locations throughout Walt Disney World by using your Magic Band.  You can authorize which of the bands will have these charging privileges attached to them, if any, so typically your 3 year old would not have access to charging.  Be sure to create an account on My Disney Experience at DisneyWorld.com so that you can customize your MagicBands and update all of your information, including adding a payment method for charging.

I wish you and your family a very magical Walt Disney World vacation Angela!
