We are coming to Ft. Lauderdale a few days before our cruise, and my daughter needs to practice her violin. Is it possible to bring the violin on board as long as she doesn't play it, or do you offer storage elsewhere?

Ahoy, Jen, and welcome aboard planDisney!

Your vacation is just days away; I bet that’s music to your ears! Get ready to tune out the stresses of everyday life and let the magic of Disney Cruise Line fill you with joy and wonder. I'm glad you asked us your question to ensure you won't have any surprises once you arrive at the terminal for embarkation.

I spoke to a shoreside agent who shared that Guests cannot bring musical instruments on Disney Cruise Line ships. It might be wise to leave her violin at home for safekeeping. If that’s not an option, luggage storage is available at the Fort Lauderdale airport through Bags to Go. Additionally, I searched for luggage storage near the port and found a few businesses that also store bags.

I know your crew will love the musical productions aboard the Disney Dream. "Beauty and the Beast" is one of my favorite Disney shows. Just hop on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for showtimes. It's like having your own personal maestro leading you through all the onboard excitement. So, pack your bags, leave your worries behind, and get ready to embark on a magical voyage you'll cherish forever!

    SEAS the adventure!
