    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I have a 12 year old son and a 7 year old son and they've been coming to Walt Disney World since they were babies.  I think the following places should be considered if you are selecting dining locations for the children:
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
    • Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot
    • Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom
    • Tusker house in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Sci Fi Dine In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Coral Reef in Epcot
    • Garden Grill in Epcot
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a lot of fun and definitely a must do in October!  It is my favorite hard ticketed event in the Magic Kingdom.  Trick or treating in costume in the theme park is a treat for children of all ages, but the party doesn't start until 7 pm.  Thus it might not be the best for very young children unless they are used to staying up late.  Disney should release the dates in late spring or early summer, so stay tuned!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
