Hi, we are coming in late June/early July. Is there any talk of free dining during this time? We've always come at Thanksgiving or Christmas and gotten free dining. We've never been in the summer. Also is this a good time to come?

    Hi Priscilla,

I have good news for you! It appears that a free dining offer has recently been released for this coming summer. It looks like it is structured a bit differently than the free dining offers you may have had when you stayed at a Disney resort hotel in November and December. However, I haven't discovered many vacation packages involving free dining for the summer months, so I was excited when I saw it released. I do hope it proves to be beneficial and available for your family.

Because I work during the school year, summer is the perfect time for me to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I grew up traveling to Orlando with my family in June and July. I appreciate summer trips for a number of reasons. The theme parks tend to be open later, on average, than during other times of the year. Also, I can make the most of visiting the Disney Water Parks. It can be very warm during the summer months so I typically add a day to my vacation dedicated to enjoying the pool at my resort. That is something I'd be much less inclined to do if I were visiting during the winter months.

Let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your trip. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help you in any we can.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
