Hi Jared,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I absolutely love
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, it was one of the first
Disney Resorts Collection hotels that I stayed in, so it holds a special place in my heart. You will have a blast!
Typically, the
Walt Disney World Resort transportation begins about 45 minutes before the Theme Parks open and runs about an hour after the Theme Parks close in the evening. So, if you’re looking to get to one of the Theme Parks early, I suggest arriving to the bus stop around 45 minutes to an hour before the Theme Parks open. Different buses for each Theme Park should arrive around every 20 minutes or so.
When it comes to the stops at
Coronado Springs, there are four different stops: Gran Destino Tower, Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas. The area you stay in determines the best stop you should use and each stop typically has a monitor that shows when the next bus will arrive for each Theme Park. When I was there, Gran Destino Tower was the final stop, but things could have changed since then. Whether your area of the resort is the first, last or in the middle, you should be just fine!
I personally don't think a rideshare is necessary, but keep in mind that buses are usually relatively full by the time they leave the Resort in the mid-morning. Depending on your stop and the amount of people waiting for that Theme Park you may or may not have a seat, but there tends to be standing room for those that don’t mind standing! Try to aim for the earliest bus possible if you’re trying to get in for early Theme Park entry, a tour, or a dining reservation. The earlier the bus ride, the fewer guests there may be!
