We are coming the last week in Oct. I have included my DS's gluten allergy in the meal reservations. How soon should I email the Special Diets folks with our dining information?

    Hi there Jaynee,

I am pleased to report that all Disney dining locations are 100% able to accommodate guests with special and unique dietary restrictions by offering a wide range of menu selections and by providing customized and personalized service to guests in need.

Since your son's gluten allergy is considered a "common" food allergy, you can rest assured that the Disney Chefs will certainly be able to cater to his needs while preparing dishes that are both yummy and acceptable diet wise.  Since the gluten allergy is so common, the chefs and kitchens are equipped to create suitable meals at a moment's notice, so there is no need to contact Special Diets via email, unless of course you want to.  The email address is:  Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

Since you have notated your reservations to reflect your son's gluten allergy, you can expect to be greeted by a chef at all table service locations.  He or She will work with your son to come up with a meal that will taste great without the gluten!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
