It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie, and I'm so happy that you're here to talk about my favorite attraction at Walt Disney World Resort: the food! You're absolutely right that the Dole Whip from
Aloha Isle is an iconic snack that you have to have when you're at
Magic Kingdom Park, but why stop there? Let's chat about some of my favorite places to make use of those
Disney Dining Plan Snack credits!
I love starting my morning with a Warm Cinnamon Roll and LeFou's Brew
Gaston's Tavern in Fantasyland! While you're back there, you can also visit
Cheshire Café and treat yourself to a Cheshire Cat Tail, one of my favorite sweet snacks. If you're looking for a frozen treat that you can't find anywhere else, head over to Adventureland for a Citrus Swirl from
Sunshine Tree Terrace. I definitely have a sweet tooth, but savory snacks are what I'm really looking for and I love the Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots from
The Friar's Nook.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is my favorite theme park at Walt Disney World Resort, and part of the reason why I love it so much is that the food is incredible! There are snacks around every corner here, so start by trying the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese from
Flame Tree Barbecue on Discovery Island. When you're in
Pandora - The World of Avatar riding
Avatar - Flight of Passage, make sure you stop by
Satu'li Canteen for a Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse, which will certainly be one of the most beautiful snacks you try when you're on vacation. Finally, we can't talk about Disney's Animal Kingdom without talking about the Baked Macaroni & Cheese from
Eight Spoon Café! There are three different varieties, and they're all available for a Snack Credit. In fact, everything I mentioned is available for a Snack credit, so start making your list!
Happy Snacking, Melanie!
