Welcome to planDisney, Todd!
You've come to the right place with your Disney Vacation planning question! I'm happy to provide an answer.
I always recommend booking your dining reservations as soon as possible to improve your chances of reserving your most desired date and time.
Dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance, but not everyone is able to plan that far in advance. But lucky for you, I have a follow-up recommendation. If you’re unable to snag a reservation at your desired location, keep checking the
Disneyland Mobile App closer to your desired date. You may be able to snag a dining reservation due to someone else’s last-minute cancellation. If that does not work, check with the Cast Member at the host stand of your favorite restaurant on the day of your visit. If there is walk-up availability, you’ll be notified at that time.
But if you can’t find a reservation for a Table Service location, try
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on the Disneyland App! You can order ahead from a
Quick-Service dining location
at your desired dining time on the day of your visit. These orders can be placed first thing in the morning for the entire day. So I suggest scheduling a pick-up window just in case you can’t find a table at your favorite restaurant for dinner. You’re not charged until you select the “I’m Here. Prepare My Order” button. So, if you change your mind or find a location with walk-up availability, your order will be canceled and you will not be charged.
I hope this helps! Head back to planDisney with more questions!
