Hello from one fellow Texan to another! Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I have a feeling that we will be seeing a lot of Texans at Walt Disney World this summer. Many of the questions I have answered this week have come from fellow Texans. I love it!

Here are two simple rules when making your Disney Dining reservations:

1. If you are having to jump parks in order to make your reservation time, always allow at least an hour and 15 minutes. Keep in mind that park buses run approximately every 20 minutes. Once on board, you can expect an approximate travel time of 15 to 20 minutes.

2. When you arrive at the gates of a Disney Theme Park, allow 10 to 15 minutes for getting through the baggage checkpoint and walking to your destination. The baggage checkpoints will only take up to 1 to 5 minutes depending on the time of day. The lines are usually longer in the mornings close to park openings.
