get a complementary Celebration Button to mark the occasion. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can pick one up at the front desk when you arrive. You can also get a birthday button at any Guest Relations location. This is a great way to let Cast Members throughout the parks know you're celebrating a big day! Pro tip- Get your Celebration Button permanently personalized at
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. You can choose the perfect words and design that stand up to Florida weather and the trip home.
If your daughter has a favorite Disney pal, I suggest
booking a Character Dining experience on the big day. You can even
order a Specialty Cake to be served at the right moment. And the leftovers make a perfect breakfast. I mean, it is a birthday trip, cake for breakfast is a must!
Should you be looking for something extra special, I recommend
checking out the Enchanting Extras Collection. You can book animal encounters, cabanas for a perfect pool day,
Birthday Packages, and so much more. I have two top picks for a birthday. The first is a fireworks dessert party.
Seats & Sweets is a great way to indulge in a huge variety of themed treats and have a great seat for Happily Ever After, no waiting on Main Street required! And
booking a Capture Your Moment session is perhaps my favorite option. These 20-minute photo sessions are personalized to the occasion, and no one gets left out of those birthday shots. I travel with a crew of teens, and
the PhotoPass Photographers are incredible. They know how to bring out each unique personality, and we come home with some of our best family photos every time. It's the perfect souvenir to remember those iconic moments forever.
Finally, if extra sparkle is on your daughter's agenda,
stop by Sir Mickey's. A Cast Member can sprinkle pixie dust in her hair (and yours, too)! This is a great, no extra cost, way to add a little bit of extra magic on the big day.
