We are coming for July 4th this year and so excited the fireworks are back - will any dessert parties at MK or Epcot be opening for July?

Hello, Melissa! I offer you a grand salute from your pals at planDisney!

Wasn't it amazing news to hear that fireworks spectaculars are returning to the Walt Disney World Resort? I think you could hear the collective shouts of joy everywhere! After all, when it comes to the 4th of July and fireworks, nobody does it better than Disney.

At this time, we haven't had word on the return of the fireworks dessert parties. The Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT parties are both still listed as "Temporarily Unavailable" on the website. I do hope they'll be back soon, though! Snacking on the cute little sweets and then ooo-ing and ahhh-ing at the spectacular in the sky made the whole experience just that much more special. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements on the return of these fun events!

Melissa, I'm so glad you're excited to see the skies light up over Walt Disney World again. I wish you lots of sparkly magic on your vacation, and I hope you'll come see us again if you have any more questions. Happy Independence Day!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
