We are coming July 6-11 and have planned a Bibbidid Bobbidi Boutique makeover for my daughter who is 8. She wants a princess dress and I have looked everywhere. We need a size 14. Do you carry this size and can I buy one now? How? Thank you, worried mom

    Hello Leigh Ellen,

The largest size children's costume carried at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and throughout Walt Disney World is a child XL. The particulars on this are XL (14/16) fits a height of 59-64 inches (150-163 cm) and a weight of 87-115 lbs (39-59 kg). While these dresses are available, I will caution you that not every princess gown is always available in every size, so if your daughter has a particular dress in mind, you'll want to plan ahead.

There is no requirement that costumes worn at Walt Disney World be purchased there. You're welcome to buy one in advance from, a different online costume vendor, a retail store like Target or Walmart, or a custom service like You can also purchase the in-park versions of the dresses directly from Disney by contacting the guest merchandise service department at 877-560-6477 or by email at

You may want to head over to the independent website for more details about the Disney princess dress situation. Cut/paste:  This will give you details about all the sizing options available.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
