Hi there, Hope!  You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a breakfast at Chef Mickey's!  The first time my husband and I brought our kids to Walt Disney World Resort, we kicked off our vacation with a Chef Mickey's breakfast, and it is a restaurant we've returned to many times throughout the years.  Not only is the food delicious but Chef Mickey's has such an upbeat, fun atmosphere!  Visiting with some of your favorite Disney pals and enjoying Mickey waffles as the monorail glides by through Disney's Contemporary Resort is the perfect way to start your magical Walt Disney World Resort day!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a big group equals big fun.  However, it can pose a bit of a challenge when booking your dining reservations.  Although the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience mobile app will let you enter a larger number of Guests, it is rare to find a dining reservation for more than six or eight people.  This is simply due to the fact that most restaurants do not have many tables of this size.  If you need to book dining reservations for a large group, I recommend splitting your group up and having two people in your party each book a smaller reservation.

I often visit Walt Disney World Resort with a big group of my fellow planDisney panelists.  When my friends and I need to make dining reservations, two or three of us will each make a separate reservation for a smaller group.  We make our reservations at the same restaurant with the times as close as possible.  Then when it's time to check in for our dining reservations, we let the Cast Members know that our groups are together.  While there is no guarantee that you will be seated together, in my experience, the Cast Members will try their best to seat your groups near each other.

I hope everything works out and that you'll be able to enjoy this uniquely Disney dining experience.  If you have any other questions as you get ready for your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask.  We're all ears!  See ya real soon!
