    Coming in January for 11th year in a row!! Is Chef Mickey's Restaurant closed the first week in January 2013? Can't find any reservation at any time and this seems strange - but we can find times the second week - thanks

    Hi Kathryn,

    I am not aware of any reason why Chef Mickey's would be closed the first week of January 2013.

    I myself have an Advanced Dining Reservation for Chef Mickeys for the week prior to this and I have just searched for a reservation for 2 Guests on 3 January 2013 and found availability for dinner.

    The crowd level at Walt Disney World during the first week of January will still be high although it usually tends to tail off as the week progresses. It looks to me as though the restaurant is simply booked up during the days and times that you are searching for availability.

    I would recommend that you keep checking for availability frequently between now and your visit as cancellations do occur.
