We are coming January 6th-10th because we saw in a book that it was a low attendance period. I have now found out that the marathon is going on while we are there. Will there be issues with crowds?

    Hi Laurie,

The folks at Disney wisely plan special events, like marathons, during periods of lower attendance.  While the crowds will be somewhat higher than they would be if there were no marathon, I think you'll find that you will be able to move about the parks and ride attractions with very little wait time.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
