Hello to my fellow resident of Pennsylvania! Sara, I’m glad that you brought your question to planDisney! Let’s talk about the best way to possibly meet Rapunzel at the Walt Disney World Resort! We’ll also talk about how you can go about seeing her too! I understand you also want to meet or see Flynn Rider! I’ll have some tips that will be much easier than making “wanted” posters. However, if you do choose to make “wanted” posters, make sure you get Flynn’s nose right. They can never seem to get that nose to be perfect! I’ll give you the best tips possible, but please keep in mind that character appearances and availability are always subject to change.
The best way to meet Rapunzel is at
Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. While the “headliners” for this royal meet and greet are Princess Tiana and Cinderella, a “visiting princess” will also be available with each princess. Rapunzel usually joins Princess Tiana. So, you will get to meet two princesses during this experience! When you arrive at Princess Fairytale Hall, there will be photos outside advertising which princesses are currently greeting guests. That way you know which line to get into. Also, not that Flynn does not appear at Princess Fairytale Hall. He’s usually out with Maximus chasing down some thieves and scoundrels!
You can also see (but not meet) Rapunzel and Flynn in the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade that is held daily at Magic Kingdom Park! The parade usually includes a “Tangled” float which is so cool! You can check the Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World Resort website to see what time the parade will be held during your visit!
Rapunzel and Flynn will usually join Mickey and Minnie during
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire! This is a stage show that occurs several times a day in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park!
You might also want to visit the “Tangled” theme restroom area in Fantasyland. Here you will find Rapunzel’s tower! While Rapunzel is not present, it is truly amazing to see her tower! My youngest son stood there for quite some time yelling, “Rapunzel, let down your hair!” It made for a great video!
Sara, one important note to share is that Rapunzel and Flynn previously met Guests for Character Dining at Trattoria al Forno Restaurant. This Character Dining experience is currently not available.
