    Coming Jan 2-6 2012 and staying at SOG w/military tickets. Will be arriving about 2pm Noticed MK is open untill 11pm so thinking of using up a day. What will be open and appealing for a 3 year old? Would this be a good idea?

    Hi Jessica!

    The Shades of Green is a great place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort.  Most guests who stay there really love it.  Generally speaking, the guest rooms are very large and the restaurants on site are relatively inexpensive.  The Shades of Green has historically had a very high guest satisfaction rate.

    You will have plenty of time to visit the Magic Kingdom after you arrive.  It's a great place to go, especially at night.  There are plenty of attractions, and even a nighttime parade and fireworks, that most guests enjoy.  Most guests with young children enjoy spending a couple of days in the Magic Kingdom, so I think this is a great idea to get your vacation started!
