If we are coming to FL Jan 4-8 and will have 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 1 twenty-month old little sweetie, what is the best housing situation for us? Is there any suite with 2 bedrooms? Also how busy is it the first week of January? Thanks!

    Hi Mary Ellen!

You should look at a Disney Deluxe Villa.  Those are really Disney Vacation Club properties, but you don't have to be a member of the club to stay there.  They have two bedroom suites available.  They are relatively expensive, however.  My favorite is the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge.  I have found it to generally be less expensive than the other villas.  My second favorite is the Beach Club Villas.

Another option would be to get two connecting rooms at any of the resorts.  Just be sure to request that when you make your reservations.  However, Disney does not guarantee that you will get connecting rooms, but my family has never had a problem.

With regards to the crowd level, the first week of January is relatively low.  It's a great time of year to go in the sense that the holiday decorations will mostly still be up and the weather will be nice and cool.  Enjoy planning your vacation, and write back if you have any more questions!
