We are coming in Jan 2011 and want to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I have a 5 year old and a very mature 2 & 1/2 year old who would be so sad to see big sister all dolled up and have to miss out on the fun. Is the 3 year old age limit set in ston

    Hi Elizabeth,

I'm kind of a "go by the rules" type of girl, and I believe that Disney sets age limits because they know from experience, most 2 1/2 year olds are not ready to sit still in a chair for a long amount of time, keep their head still, etc.

Another fun, quicker and cheaper option for your little one would be to take her to the barber shop on Main Street.  They can give her a cut or an updo with some added Pixie dust.  You could even let her pick out a princess dress while big sister gets her make-over, or bring one from home for her to put on.  You'll have two princesses ready for a magical day.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
