Hi, Stella! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The Holidays are a magical time to visit the Disneyland Resort, and while I certainly can’t tell you everything in one answer, I can provide some tips to help you start planning your adventure. If you haven’t already booked your lodging, I highly recommend staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel. There are three hotels to choose from and they are only a short walk away from the parks. Plus, when you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you have access to Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay which expands the magic even further.
When it comes to tickets, consider buying Park Hopper tickets. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are mere steps away from each other so hopping back and forth could not be easier. Park Hoppers also allow you to keep your plans flexible which is a necessity when traveling with little ones.
You’ll have lots of entertainment options during this time of year including holiday overlays on “it’s a small world” Holiday, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. The Christmas Fantasy Parade will march down Disneyland Park each day and at night you can experience the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks. Finally, enjoy lots of festive food and cultural performances in Disney California Adventure Park as part of the
Festival of Holidays. I hope this helps get you started. Please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
