Coming 10/4-10/2014 Husband and I with the kids (15,10 &7). How can I make the most of each day with such short hours? Staying off site so no EMH. Need help planning an itinerary. Main focus MK & HS w/1 day ea @ AK and Epcot. What days where??

    Hi Lisa,

I saw that my fellow mom, Jacqui C, answered a similar question about park hours for you. I agree with her that shortened park hours usually mean lighter crowds. You will be amazed by how much you can accomplish in a short period of time!

As for your itinerary, I do have some suggestions. Take a look at each park to see when fireworks or shows might be available that week. If Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is important to you, you will want to choose a day to visit the Magic Kingdom when it is on the schedule. The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be happening so while you will want to be sure to check it out, you might want to avoid the weekends when it seems to be busiest. If you are a fan of Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to note that it will not be showing on the Saturday or Tuesday of your visit.

One other factor that seems to govern our park choices is our restaurant choices. Sometimes finding a sought after dining reservation helps us choose which park we're visiting on which day!

I hope I've given you a start on your itinerary! Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
