Coming 6/5-6/11, me, husband, 7&4 yo boys and grandma. Staying @ new AoA, have dining plan and park hoppers. Wondering on weather, crowds, schedule & break suggestions, etc. First trip for our children. So excited, counting down the days!

Hi Miranda - Early June is a great time to travel to Walt Disney World!  Some schools will already be out for the year, but other schools aren't.  So, it's not quite as crowded as it would be during a school vacation.

The weather in early to mid-June averages in the high-80s, so it should be hot.  When I travel to Walt Disney World with my kids, I do generally take a mid-day break back at the resort to relax and get out of the sun for a bit.  I'd recommend that after lunch (or before lunch, if you are dining at your resort), you head back to the hotel and relax in the room or at the pool to get out of the sun.  With the park hopper option, you can either go back to the same theme park, or choose to switch to another theme park for the afternoon.

Remember to pack bottled water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats as you head out for the day, to make sure you stay cool.

    Have a great vacation!
