Hello! We are coming in September/October and were hoping to do Mickeys Not So Scary. We were wanting to spend the entire day at the park and then do mickeys not so scary Halloween at 4! Would we have to buy two separate tickets for that day?

Boo to you, Kandice! With the announcement about this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we're shrieking in delight as we celebrate halfway to Halloween here at planDisney, and we're happy to welcome another happy haunt to the celebration!

Kandice, you're just in time! If your upcoming trip includes a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, or Shades of Green, you'll be able to purchase your Halloween party tickets starting tomorrow, May 15, 2025! If you're staying as a guest at another, off-site hotel, you'll be able to purchase your tickets starting on May 22, 2025! Now that we've got that detail out of the way, let's jump to your question!

Your party ticket will grant you admission to the party on a select night, and as a bonus, you'll get a few hours at Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 PM before the park closes to materialize into party mode! If you plan to arrive at Magic Kingdom before 4 PM, yes, you will need to purchase a standard theme park ticket for that same day, which would allow you to enjoy the park from open to close. If you do this, you will just need to keep an eye out for wristband distribution stations within the park where you can scan your party ticket to receive your party credentials starting at 4 PM. This will allow you to stay for the party once the park officially closes at 6 PM.

Kandice, there is so much to see and do during the Halloween party! My favorites are trick or treating, stopping to visit my favorite characters and check out their festive Halloween costumes, and I never miss Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade or Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show! With so much seasonal entertainment, specialty snacks, and fun activities, the party is sure to leave you smiling as big as a grim-grinning ghost!

I hope this helps you to plan for your visit and to make your must-do party list! If you have any other questions before your trip, come back to planDisney any time and let us know!

    Let's Boo This!
