Hello Amanda,
I am so excited for you to be going back to your happy place! Even after all the trips I have made to Walt Disney World, it is always fun to experience something new. So, I love that you are doing the same. The miniature golf courses are uniquely themed and tons of fun.
Personally, I love
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf the best. Where else can you golf among the "snow" in Florida? There are two courses, Summer Course and Winter Course, each with its own theme. In addition to its awesome theming, it is a lot easier to get to, in my opinion. To get there, you can take the bus from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside to Blizzard Beach. The entrance to the mini golf course is to the right of the main entrance to the water park. When you are done, you could then take the bus from Blizzard Beach to Disney's Contemporary Resort and enjoy your late lunch at Chef Mickey's. Afterwards, you can actually walk to Magic Kingdom. It only takes about 5-10 minutes and there is no waiting for transportation. If you would rather save your energy, the monorail can take you to Magic Kingdom, but you will make a few stops first at Disney's Polynesian Village, the Transportation and Ticket Center and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
Alternately, you could also go to
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. To get here, you would need to make more transportation transfers.
Enjoy your new experience. Fore!
