Water Activities at Aulani

    We coming to Hawaii on May and I had a few questions Do you have a washer and dryer area for DVC members like in other DVC resorts if staying in a studio is parking free for DVC members Do you get discounts on meals at the resort like at Disney World

    Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. Mahalo for asking your great question.  Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is one of my favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Our family has been a few times, and we are excited to be returning again this summer. There's no place I'd rather be than riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride at Aulani, Thomas.

    Great news, Thomas.  If you are staying in a one-bedroom Villa or larger at Aulani, just like at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts, you will find an in-room washer and dryer. If you are NOT staying in a Villa, meaning you are in a Studio, there are two self-service, coin-operated laundry facilities at the Resort.  This means you can pack less and save room for those Aulani souvenirs!

    For Disney Vacation Club Members, there is complimentary self-parking at the Resort if you have used your Membership to stay at the Resort.  For non-DVC Members or if you are a cash-paying DVC Member during your stay, the self-parking fee of $37 per day (subject to change) would apply.  

    Now, I've saved the best for last, Thomas. Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members DO receive certain discounts and benefits at Aulani, similar to those at Walt Disney World Resort.  These can include Member Extras and discounts on activities, rentals, shopping, and more.  At present, I do not see discounts for dining but definitely check with the Resort at check-in, as these Member Extras and benefits do change from time to time.  

    A quick bonus tip for your Thomas.  While visiting Aulani, I recommend checking with the Holoholo Desk for information about island excursions.  Oahu is a special place, and it is well worth doing a bit of exploring while you are there.  On your Resort days, grab a Mickey-shaped shave ice. This delicious treat is a Hawaiian staple, but when it's Mickey-shaped, of course, it tastes better.
