Hi Don! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh my goodness, your
Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner. In just a couple of days, you will be off enjoying
Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. How lucky are you?! I'm sure you've been looking forward to this special time with your family for quite a while, so I'm so pumped for you to set off on your magical vacation! Now, you must have some final packing to do, so let’s get to your excellent question!
Getting groceries delivered to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is such a fabulous idea and is something I do on every visit to Walt Disney World. It’s so convenient to have some of my favorite snacks and water bottles in my room to grab and go as I’m flying out the door to head to the parks each morning for rope drop! I’ve also recently started ordering toiletries to be delivered with my groceries as well. It's such a great way to avoid those heavy items like sunblock, shampoo, etc., from weighing my bag down when I fly! I suggested this recently to a friend, and she said it was a total game-changer, so definitely give it a try!
All you’ll need to do is build your order on your favorite grocery delivery service, like Amazon Fresh, and set the delivery address as follows:
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn2101 North Epcot Resorts Boulevard
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8442
As you are finalizing your order, be sure that your full name is listed as the recipient on the order so that Bell Services knows to whom the order belongs when delivered. Then, the fabulous Cast Members on the Bell Services team will happily accept the delivery on your behalf. So, there is no need to wait around for it, allowing you the freedom to explore your resort or hit the ground running and have some fun in the theme parks! How great is that?! They will also ensure that any perishable items get refrigerated upon arrival, so feel free to order any fresh food you like!
One important thing to note is that if any items in your order require age verification (such as alcohol), you must be there in person to receive your order. Bell Services cannot accept these types of orders on your behalf.
Once you’re back at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and ready to head up to your room, the Bell Services team can bring your groceries up to your room for a
fee of $6 (the amount is subject to change), which will be charged to your room account. Alternatively, you are welcome to pick up the groceries from the Bell Services desk and bring them to your room, free of charge. I usually like to check on the location of my room first and decide from there. Sometimes your room can be a decent distance from the hotel lobby, so you may not want to schlep your order such a long way! I tried to do this once while carrying a carton of water, and needless to say, I needed a dip in the pool after that workout!
It is such a special time to be visiting Walt Disney World, and you really can feel the magic in the air from the moment you arrive. So, make sure to take a moment to look around and take it all in. These are memories that will last a lifetime!
Have a magical vacation!
