We will be coming with our four children ages 8,6,3,and1. Can we take the 1 year old on rides with us? Such as pooh, ariel and rides like them?

Tami, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you're having a magical week.

You'll find that the Disneyland Resort has something for everyone, regardless of age. You will definitely be able to bring your 1-year-old to all rides that do not have a height requirement. "it's a small world" and "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" were our favorites at Disneyland Park when my kids were little, with "Heimlich's Chew Chew Train" being a big hit for us while visiting California Adventure.

On the Disneyland website, you can view more information on attractions. There are rides without height restrictions that may be scary and loud for young children. My son used to be very sensitive to loud noises when he was little and we found "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride", "Pinocchio's Daring Journey" and "Snow White's Scary Adventures" to be too frightening.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Tami. Please visit me on the Panel if you have further questions.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
