We are coming to Fort Wilderness in Sept. this year and bringing a small RV (truck camper) I want to know if I can put up two small sleeping tents and a dining tent.

Hi Keri! The Campsites in Fort Wilderness is one of the best RV parks in the country. The sites are beautiful and the amenities are great.

Each RV site is limited to a maximum of 10 persons. You can put up extra tents and screen houses but please know that space can be limited. Many sites will not have room for extra tents as the bushes and shrubs will come right up to the concrete pads. When you check-in you might want to mention you need a site with extra room for a tent. The premium sites will have long concrete pads. The Full Hook-Up sites will have a concrete pad and then a sandy area in the back of the concrete which is perfect for tents. Loops 1600, 1700, 1800, and 1900 are in the back area but have the extra room for tents and it is very quiet and private. You can also have pets in this area.

If you have any further questions about Fort Wilderness let me know. We come in the fall and stay in our motor coach for about 2 1/2 months and love every minute of our stay.
