We are coming to Fort Wilderness in May and have three day tickets. When we check out on Sunday can we park the truck and 5th wheel and still go to AK for the day? Or another option is to stay and enjoy the grounds for a while before heading home?

    Hi Stacy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

You certainly may choose to enjoy the Walt Disney World Parks or Fort Wilderness' amenities, recreation and activities on your check-out day! "Cram in as much last-minute, Disney Magic & fun in as you can!" is my personal motto for my last day of vacation.

If you decide to stay at Fort Wilderness, simply check with a Cast Member prior to check-out time to find out where you should move the truck and 5th wheel to park them for the day prior to hitting the road. If you have purchased enough park days that you have a park visit remaining for your last day, you have two options. As above, confirm where to park and then use Disney Transportation to get into and out of the park(s) you choose for your final day. Alternatively, you can choose to drive the park and 5th wheel to the park parking lot and park there until you're ready to head on home.

If your current park tickets don't already allow for a park visit on your final day, you can add that additional day on prior to your arrival, during check-in upon arrival, or even during any day of your visit, prior to your last day, by visiting any Guest Services location in the parks or at Fort Wilderness.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Stacy!
