    Hi Joanna!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to see that you are planning your first visit - please come back and ask us anything!  We will be very happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.  These planning videos may provide you with some inspiration, and we have our own Disney Parks Moms Panel Video Library which is full of useful tips.  Chef Mickey's is one of my favourite character dining locations, and one that we visited many times while my son was growing up.  You will enjoy meeting several Disney friends, including most, if not all, of these:  Chef Mickey (of course!), Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald.  They will visit your table and spend time with you for photos and autographs if you wish, and you will have a really fun time with them all.   There is also the opportunity for a family photo before you are seated at your table.  The suggested prices are currently: breakfast (7.00am-11.15am) and brunch (11.30am-2.30pm), $49.00 per adult, $29.00 per child aged 3-9.  Dinner (5.00pm-9.30pm) is $59.00 for adults, and $35.00 for children aged 3-9.  Please know that these prices are always subject to change. There is no charge for any children up to the age of 2 as it is not expected they will eat a full meal.  They are welcome to share your plate, or you can order additional sides or a small meal for them and pay for those separately.

Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort which is in easy reach of Magic Kingdom Park if you plan to visit there before or after your meal.  You can take an easy stroll, or use the monorail with will encircle Seven Seas Lagoon before reaching the park.  It's a really nice ride.

Dining reservations, particularly for character meals, are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online or by using your My Disney Experience account.  When making your reservations, please ensure you include both of your children in the total number of Guests, even if they are not eating a full meal.

Please come back if you have any further questions.  We are here to help!
