Coming the first week of October 2014. Will be our 2nd visit. Pretty bummed out now that I have seen the hours each day. Are shorter hours normal that time of year? We are staying off site so no EMH. Should I have chosen a different time to come?

    Hello Lisa!

Please do not be discouraged!  Yes, typically park hours are shortened that time of year.  However, your trip should not be impacted negatively.  Shorter park hours usually mean that crowds are also lower during this time.  What this means for you is that you will get more accomplished and need less time budgeted for all the sites and attractions.  I would still recommend that you make advanced dining reservations and FastPass+ selections.  Get to the parks early and enjoy your days!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
