Hello, we are coming the first week of November, will it be too cold to swim in the resort pools or are they heated? Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

I've never really actually swam in the swimming pools at the Disneyland Resort hotels, even during the hot summer months! I'm the mom who hangs out on the chaise lounge reading a good book, while my husband and kids splash about in the pools. My kids are never bothered by how cold the weather is, and they'd still jump into the pools regardless.

After you've posed your question, I was very curious just how warm the swimming pools at the Disneyland Resort hotels are. The Disney Cast Member I spoke with assured me that the pools are maintained at approximately 80 degrees year round. Also, keep in mind that Southern California's weather is quite mild, even in early November! Since you're coming from New Jersey, I'm thinking you'll find the waters to be fairly nice to swim in when you visit.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you get ready for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Lauren. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
