Hi Tiffany,
I think the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Pioneer Hall at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground would be a wonderful show for your family. My son first experienced this meal when he was five years old. He attended the show with his grandparents and he laughed through the whole thing. He really enjoyed the food, too. It's good old-fashioned American fare (chicken, ribs, corn on the cob, strawberry shortcake) so it has broad appeal. You and your family will get to sing, laugh, eat, and really enjoy each others' company. I don't think you can go wrong with this signature dining experience!
Of course, if you're looking for something a bit more tropical, there's always the
Spirit of Aloha Dinner at Disney's Polynesian Resort. You won't find better hula dancing anywhere else on Disney property! Mickey also hosts a kid-friendly BBQ that's another option worth considering.
Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a buffet and western dance party your kids are sure to love. It is held at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Nearby at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Whispering Canyon Cafe is plenty of fun for kids the age of your children. Supposedly there is no show here but the servers are such a bunch of characters that you never really know what kind of excitement or mischief you might encounter. Plus the really young kids love getting involved in the impromptu activities that go on here at dinner time. If you're looking for a raucous but less structured dining experience, this might be a good choice.
Whichever dining experience you choose, be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations!
