    Hi! We're coming (first time) 8/7 & 8/8. We're spending all of Fri. in MK, & we're trying to decide about adding PH to our tickets, to go to MK and HS on Sat. for Disney Jr, Star Wars, & Doc McStuffins. Is this doable or will we miss out in MK

    Hey Johanna-

    You are going to have the best Walt Disney World Resort Vacation in a few days. Great idea! Adding the Park Hopper Option to each ticket will cost about $50.00/person but will open up some great attractions and shows to little ones. Plan to arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at 45 minutes before the theme park opens to be in the front of the line at the entrance which is a replica of the Pan-Pacific Auditorium. Get a Times Guide outside of the gates before you enter to view show times for Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, and Jedi Training Academy. When the rope drops, proceed to ABC Sound Studio to sign young Padawans up for Jedi Training Academy. There are many times offered and the earlier you get there the earlier your training time. Afterward head straight to Toy Story Midway Mania for the best shootin’ challenge at Walt Disney World Resort. While in line see the showtimes for the two shows listed above and plan accordingly to see them. If you are not Frozen fans then the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! is cool for kids of every age. Disney Jr. Live on Stage will have your kids clapping and singing through the whole show. Don’t miss MuppetVision 3D where Kermit and friends take you… well you’ll see. Oh and of course, meet your Disney Jr. friends Doc McStuffins, Jake and Sofia the First outside in the Animation Courtyard. If your youngest is 40” tall then attractions like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be a blast. Head over to Magic Kingdom Park by 1:30-2:00 p.m. for more Mickey Magic.

    Disney Dad Tip: Unless you are staying on-property you may want to switch your theme park days. Due to Morning Extra Magic Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Saturday the park will open at 8:00 a.m. for Resort Guests an hour before everyone else.
