Hi Carol,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be tickled to welcome your boys to the Walt Disney World Resort!
So much to do, so little time. You definitely need to make those Fast Pass+ selections as soon as possible! If you are visiting the parks for more than four days. I suggest that you visit Magic Kingdom twice. The attractions here are perfect for little ones. Be sure to check the
Attractions List to review height requirements for your planned rides. Here are my top picks -
- Magic Kingdom - Pirates of the Caribbean, Astro Orbiter, and Tomorrowland Speedway (your 7-year old might be able to drive). Also try The Barnstormer, Buzz Space Ranger Spins, Mad Tea Party and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
- Epcot - Journey into Imagination with Pigment, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Spaceship Earth
- Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safaris, It's Tough to be a Bug! and Na'vi River Journey
Now, I have saved the best for last. If your 7-year old wants to join the Rebel Forces to battle the Dark Side and save the galaxy, you must, I repeat, you must get him directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios to sign-up at park opening for
Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Since all Jedi-in-training need food, we typically do a pre-park opening dining reservation at Hollywood & Vine so that we can secure a training spot. As soon as you get to the park, go directly to sign-up. Your recruit must be with you at the sign-up location.
Carol, you also cannot miss all things
Pirates at Walt Disney World Resort. Ahoy mateys!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
