We are coming for our first family Disney vacation for nine days in April. We have four children 12, 9, 8,and 6. After reading reviews about the boardwalk I am having doubts. This our only chance to stay in a deluxe resort. Is this a good choice?

    Hi Julia,

How exciting to be getting ready for your very first Disney vacation! It will be here before you know it. As with anything in life, you'll always find some people who don't like something. Those are the ones who tend to write reviews. If all of the people who absolutely love the BoardWalk Inn were to write a review, there wouldn't be enough space to fit it all. Seriously. The BoardWalk is an absolutely gorgeous resort! A lot of Panelists consider it to be their favorite Deluxe resort. The atmosphere is lively and fun. There are performers nightly on the BoardWalk which children love. The rooms are gorgeous too. In addition, it is located in my favorite area of Disney - Crescent Lake. You'll be walking distance to Epcot and a relaxing boat ride from Hollywood Studios. If I had a chance to stay at the BoardWalk on my first visit to Walt Disney World, I think I'd have a hard place staying anywhere else after that. My one word of advice is to request a room that is close to the lobby. Some of the rooms are located a long way from the lobby and with tired little legs at night, that can be a little difficult.

Wishing you a simply wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
