We are coming in a few days early for our dec disney cruise and wanted to have supper. There will be 3 adults,2 are fairly picky and like American food the best. It can't be in the park. Would love to be at a resort that has lots of Christmas decorations.

    Hi, Richyl!

The decorations at Walt Disney World during Christmas time are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen! I'm thinking that this may be a question you'd get a different answer to depending on which one of us Moms answers.

I have many favorites as far as holiday decorations and restaurants go so I'm going to attach an article from the Disney Parks Blog on the 2012 Holiday Season that showcases some of the super special decorations. This way, you can see some examples and decide which ones are a "must see" for your family! If you go to the dining section of the main Walt Disney World website, you can filter the restaurants to only show the ones in certain Resort Hotels. If you'd like to look at the menus, check out AllEars.net. There are many different options to choose from!

I just asked my husband and kids where they thought you should go, and they all three voted on Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian! That is our absolute favorite restaurant on Walt Disney World property. The food there is simply divine. There is also a GIANT life-sized Gingerbread House [one of the most spectacular holiday pieces] right there in the Resort lobby of the Grand Floridian where you can purchase all sorts of delectable holiday goodies. You can even purchase a miniature Gingerbread House to take with you! Another great thing about dining at the Grand Floridian is that you can do a loop on the monorail and visit the decorations at the Polynesian and the Contemporary if you have time!

I hope this helps with your decision and I encourage you to come back and visit us with more questions!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
