We are coming in February 2017. Not really going to the parks, just relaxing at Riverside. We are thinking though of going to Typhoon Lagoon one of the days. Will it be warm enough for a water park? Also when is an updated planning DVD coming out? Thanks!

Greetings, Howard, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Water Parks and Disney DVD Planning questions.

You're going to enjoy your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. Don't forget to pop over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter for those popular Beignets and catch a Water Taxi over to the re-designed Disney Springs bursting with dining, entertainment, and shopping! You'll have access to exclusive Disney Resort hotel Guest amenities making your vacation comfortable and memorable!

In consulting typical Orlando weather trends, the temperatures fluctuate between the mid-60's all the way to the low 80's. February is a great time of the year to visit drawing in lower crowds and the nearly 3 million gallons of water during this time of the year are heated. Please check park hours for Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon as they open up soon as there are typical closures for maintenance during the winter months. You can check for exact dates by calling (407) 824-4321.

Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD's are available for online viewing and ordering for your future planning considerations.

The winter months are a perfect time to combine a stay at Walt Disney World Resort and a sailing with Disney Cruise Line through their Land and Sea Vacation Packages, creating the most ultimate Disney Parks vacation.

    Best Wishes!
