We are coming as a family of 5 plus. We are debating between AKL and AOA ... We have myself, my husband a 7,5, and 3 year old. Would AKL standard room with zebra view be too small for us? I know one child would have to share room with my in-laws. Thanks!

    Hi Marcie,

The experience of zebras, giraffes, and other African safari animals roaming the savanna outside your room is hard to beat. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has ample sized rooms that should accommodate your family easily, especially if one child stays with Gramps and Gran. Before our fourth child was born, our then party of five once stayed in one room at AKL with two kids in bunk beds and our toddler in a crib. We had plenty of space and a balcony where were we would sit, relax, and watch the animals. I'm a huge fan of giraffes so I adore this resort.

If you want to see zebras outside your window, do make a request. Typically zebras are only found on the Arusha savanna.

Enjoy your exotic stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!
