Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!
How wonderful you are planning a November vacation with your family at the Walt Disney World Resort! I think that you will find that Disney strives to make the resort accessible to everyone!
If your son is unable to wait in a traditional queue, you can request a
Disability Access Service (DAS) at any theme park Guest Relations Lobby. The DAS will provide a virtual wait time for an attraction. Discuss with the Cast Member your son's needs and the Cast Member will provide assistance based on your individual situation. Keep in mind that this must be done in person, and you must bring your son and other party members with you so that the DAS can be electronically associated with your entire party via valid theme park ticket media (MagicBands or admission tickets). I'm limited on space, so take a look at a recent answer that details how to use this new
electronic DAS in the theme parks.
Since most of the attraction queues are ECV friendly, your father should be able to navigate without worry. There are some attractions where he will need to be ambulatory or transfer to an attraction wheelchair before entering a ride vehicle. I suggest looking at the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page for a detailed description of attraction access categories and so your father can be prepared for his visit.
I hope this helps, and you have a magical time making memories with your family. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Have a magical day!
Missy
