We are coming for our 2nd family holiday with our 4 kids(3,3,6,8)and are looking for advise on what best things to do in Disney in the parks and at the resorts(we are staying at the Art of Animation Cars)

Would it be helpful if I offered up some must see attractions in each of the four theme parks, Cathey?  I'll especially focus on things that might appeal to young children.

At Magic Kingdom: all of Fantasyland, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Pirates of the Caribbean (as long as they're not afraid of pirates in the dark).

At Hollywood Studios: Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, the Beauty and the Beast show, and Toy Story Mania.

At Animal Kingdom: The Boneyard, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

At Epcot: Turtle Talk with Crush, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Innoventions.

As for finding fun in and around the resorts, my family enjoys renting a surrey bike at Disney's BoardWalk.  We also like to take a spin on the monorail and explore each of the three resorts on the line.  Another great option is to visit the savanna overlook at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (combining it with a trip to Boma is a great choice).  Lastly, the recreational opportunities at Fort Wilderness are plentiful.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
