Hi, I am coming with my family in February there will be 4 adults and two children and we are staying off site. In regards to parking if for example we park at MK and during the day leave for a break if we return do we have to pay again , thank you Sian

Welcome back to planDisney! I am so happy to see you again, Sian, as you plan your most magical surprise trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

Getting up and going early is one of the best ways to enjoy the parks. I mean, who can sleep in late when you are going to Walt Disney World? But I also love how different the parks are at night. Walking up to Pirates of the Caribbean when the sky is midnight blue and the pirate mast is illuminated by the lights... It is just a completely different energy. Being able to enjoy both, especially with children, sometimes calls for a break in the middle of the day.

Sian, I have good news for you on parking at Walt Disney World Resort. Your parking fee is good all day and at all parks. If you start your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios and decide after a mid-day break that you want to see Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, just show your receipt from earlier in the day to the Cast Member at the parking gate. You do not have to pay again to park.

Heading back to the resort for a nap or time in the pool is a lovely way to recharge for a late night enjoying your favorite attractions. One other option I love is character dining. In the middle of the day, lunch with Winnie the Pooh and his friends at The Crystal Palace can be a very fun thing to do. It is relaxing, time off your feet, and a silly 'ole bear. For a bit longer break, I like to take the Disney Monorail over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. A late brunch at Chef Mickey's followed by walking around this marvel of a resort is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. You can stay in the magic but not in a rush.

I am so excited about your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please come back to planDisney with any questions.

    Thinking of the happiest things!
