    We are coming the end of October for our first Disney trip, VERY excited!!!! My sone is 8 and daughter 6. Which water park would you recommend? Is one better for their age group? Thanks!!!

    October is a wonderful time to go to Walt Disney World! We love going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party when the kids have fall brake in the middle of the month!

    Both of my kids agree that their favorite waterpark is Blizzard Beach (BB). we feel that the rides at BB are a little better with more thrills. The kids area is much bigger and the family raft/tube ride is Awesome!

    I do have to say that you cannot beat the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. The pool is massive and just hearing the screams when they are about to unleash "the wave" is really neat. When we were there in June, the slides just didn't provide as much thrills as at BB. Depending on when you are planning on going to the waterpark, you may not have a choice... Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to go on refurbishment from October 27th until early January. So, that would only leave you with being able to go to Blizzard Beach after that date.
