Welcome to planDisney Parmita. Last-minute trips come in with a rush of excitement and always feel like a certain white rabbit in a rush. Don't worry I have just visited with one of my teenage daughters and we had a bunch of fun.
Being the father of two teenage princesses is something I will always cherish. While visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort they used to want to be princesses, now that they have reached the same age as your girls it is more about doing "cool" stuff. My girls enjoy thrills and over 8 days there is plenty for you to conquer on this trip.
Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios was a perfect end to the night and with a
Fantasmic! Dining Package you just have to show up 30 minutes before the show starts and you will have reserved seating with a perfect view. While visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge I introduced my daughter to what's called a "Single Rider Only" queue, in this queue they take what they need to fill the next voyage. She was able to get on with
Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run three times in an hour because it is little to no wait. That is only if you don't mind not being pilot or gunner position. What I think she liked best was the independence and waiting for me after her turn. Working with Hondo Onaka and liberating that coaxium for the Resistance just gives a sense of accomplishment. You'll get to know him, he means well.
We also enjoyed some thrills as well, roller coasters and thrill rides in general have always been popular in my household. My youngest daughter has been waiting to get her chance to venture into
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. We went on early in the day and it was the perfect start. Although we did stop before taking the plunge, we found a photographer to take our picture on Sunset Boulevard in front of the tower. The girls really love taking selfies while on vacation, but this is like having a traveling photographer.
Disney PhotoPass Service allows you to capture memories in select locations and attractions all over the parks. If you purchase
Memory Maker they can take pictures everywhere and as many as they would like. Then you can download them to your phone right from the
My Disney Experience App.
I hope this information helps you keep these little ladies busy and having fun. They grow up so fast and the next time they visit they will be so different. Enjoy the time with them and don't even blink to miss a second. If you have any other questions stop back by
planDisney.com and we will be ready to help.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
