Hi ! We are coming the end of February and I swore I would never take my kids to Walt Disney world well sometimes being a parent changes you . Our son is 2.5 is that to young or will he enjoy the park . He loves Disney junior .

    Hi Melissa!

Our last trip to Walt Disney World Resort was when my son was almost 3-years old. It is a fantastic age to take kids! He was so amazed by everything he saw on the entire trip and still talks about things we did on that trip 8 months later! Magic Kingdom is full of attractions that are perfect for preschoolers. My son loves to ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. He went on a quest to defeat Zurg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.  And he got such a big kick out of meeting Mickey and his buddies throughout the park. Plus, I was able to use the FastPass+ system to minimize our wait time for popular rides and character meet and greets, which made the trip more enjoyable for everyone!

Since your son is a fan of Disney Junior, he will really enjoy Disney's Hollywood Studios. Your son can see all of his favorite characters at Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, an interactive show that our son absolutely loves. I recommend having breakfast or lunch at Hollywood & Vine, where Disney Junior characters will come visit your family right at your table. On our last visit, we were able to meet many characters that were not visiting the rest of the park that day!

Be sure to check out the guide to planning a Walt Disney World vacation for preschoolers. See ya real soon!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to two little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
