Hey there, Michael, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s exciting to see you putting the final touches on your Disney Vacation planning. At the end of my Disney planning, I like to sit, relax, and plan out my Disney Food plan. Well, I guess that’s technically not the end of planning then. I just realized that maybe I actually like the Disney Planning phase more than I usually admit.
Michael, if you are staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of your visit then you get to let
Disney Transportation do all the driving for you! Each resort hotel has access to at least one form of Disney Transportation, and each method of transportation is accessible to Guests using electric scooters. In this case, your mother-in-law will get whisked right up to the bus drop-off location at each Theme Park. These drop-offs are typically much closer to the park entrance than the standard parking lot.
If you are planning to drive to each theme park yourself,
accessible parking is available for Guests in the Theme Park parking lot. The accessible parking will also place you closer to the park entrance than the standard parking lot. A valid disability parking permit is required, and you can let the Auto Plaza Cast Member know that you need accessible parking when you reach the parking lot. They will gladly point you in the right direction.
I hope this helps, Michael! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
