Hi! We are coming on Easter Sunday 2012 and plan to be at the Magic Kingdom that day! Have the Easter events been released yet since we are 16 days out? I'm specifically wondering if the Easter Bunny will be at any of the parks or resorts! Thanks!

    Hi Jill,

There has not been any official announcement as of yet about what Easter events will be available at Walt Disney World this year.

I can however tell you that Easter celebrations have traditionally included many special activities such as parades, egg hunts, holiday dining, and special character greetings. A gala Easter Parade also normally takes place in the afternoons down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom .

I would be surprised if Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny are not available for a Meet & Greet and/or photo opportunity somewhere and would recommend that you stop by Guest Services as you enter each theme park to enquire if they will be appearing anywhere on that particular day.

I would also suggest that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog website in the coming weeks for more information about what events/activities will be taking place this year.

This Disney Parks Blog post from 23 April 2011 - Take 5: Easter at Disney Parks will give you a good idea of what you can expect.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
