Hi, we’re coming during a very hot week in May. Can we bring frozen water bottles to the parks, or do they need to be empty.? I’ve been reading conflicting answers. Thanks for all your help!

Hello Janet, it's really great to welcome you back to planDisney once again!

This is such a great question and one which I'm happy to share that I do have personal experience with!  My family and I visit Walt Disney World Resort from across the pond in the United Kingdom, therefore we always find the weather to be a lot hotter, and certainly far more humid than we're used to.  With this in mind, we've often carried bottles of frozen water in our backpacks in an effort to keep both cool and hydrated when visiting the Disney Theme Parks.  Another great tip for keeping cool this coming May, is to pack a microfiber gym towel in your Disney backpack!

Janet, I think that it might be useful for you to know that at present Guests are more than welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages and snacks with them into the Disney Theme Parks as long as they are safely stored within non-glass containers and do not require any reheating or processing.

I have another great tip for you!  Guests can request free cups of iced water at most any Quick-Service Dining location on Disney property; simply ask the nearest Cast Member who I'm sure will be glad to assist you.

I hope I've been able to provide a little additional insight for you today Janet.  If you should have any further questions about your upcoming May vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please don't hesitate to pop back to planDisney where I'll always be happy to help.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
