We are coming during the free dining plan. My husband will have dr appts during the time we are at WDW. The appt will take at least 4 hrs each. We are not sure about making reservations during those days. Is it better to use the Quick Service on those days

    Hi Teresa,

If any of your Husbands doctors appointments are early morning then you could plan to make a dining reservation at a Table-Service restaurant for dinner and likewise, if any are late afternoon, you could plan on making a dining reservation at a Table-Service restaurant for breakfast.

What I would say is to avoid any Table-Service restaurants which require a credit card guarantee on these days just in case for some reason you are not able to get there. When booking a reservation at these restaurants, Guests are required to provide a credit card to hold a reservation and will be charged $10.00 per person if the cancellation isn't made at least one day in advance.

If the appointments are midday and you are not sure if you would be able to get to a Table-Service restaurant at any given time, then I would absolutely recommend that you plan to use your Quick-Service meal entitlements on these particular days.

If I can be of any further help please feel free to visit us again on the Moms Panel and ask me another question.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
